Donnell passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, but it never defined him or kept him down. When friends worried about his health he would just respond “I’ve got God!” He rode his bike everywhere to the very end, and he loved everything New Orleans…family, food, and of course the Saints! He will be greatly missed by many.
The voice of a songbird was the blessing for all who heard her sing. The words of her songs were most often her own writings. Cece was a gifted poet whose repertoire included heartfelt emotions of her life experience. “Broken Crayons” was one of her favorites to share. Thank you Cece for the lesson of God’s healing with your words of testimony.
The first time I met Thomas he said I walked like a country girl! I wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not but he became Country Thomas to me. Thomas dealt with many health and emotional issues and sadly died alone in his apartment. Liberty was blessed to know him
Veteran, friend, fiancé. . . but mostly a devoted and faithful man. He will be greatly missed by his sister, fiancé and us. God bless.
Our friend, Rhonda had an infectious smile and a tough spirit. Being her friend these last five years has been a blessing. The trust and friendship she gave us was a treasure. Rhonda’s “spot” on the sidewalk will never be the same.
We met Paul in the CitySquare Café where he spent his weekdays. He was quite the personality as he knew everyone and loved to share his trivia knowledge. Knowing the end of his life was near Paul gifted us with his family bible. What a guy; what a gift.
