Our Board

Kim Beck

Kim Beck (front row right)- Founder and President –  Kim Beck is a wife, mother and grandmother who has a heart and passion for people. Relationship with those she serves is the core value in her desire to bring out God’s best in and for others. Previously held volunteer and board positions include Contact-St. Louis, Friends of the Family and Epiphany Ministries. For over 40 years she has been recognized as a gifted connector and innovator in fundraising and leadership capacities with non-profits. With the formation of Liberty Ministry Kim continues to search and learn unique ways to honor the least, the last and the lost.

Leann White

Leann White (front row left) – Co-founder and Vice President – Leann is a longtime resident of North Texas where she has worked and served in many capacities including bartender, personal trainer, preschool teacher and youth minister. She is a wife, mom, and, of course, her favorite role, Mema (translation grandma). Upon retirement from Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church as Middle School Director, she realized retirement was just the beginning, and felt called to co-found and serve with Liberty Ministry. Serving with Liberty Ministry opened up her new passion to connect with those who are suffering and often forgotten. Leann’s passion can be seen in her deeds of collecting donations, bringing  awareness, educating the community about homelessness and empowering them to take action. She treasures her new friendships and the relationships she has been blessed with through her service with Liberty Ministry. Leann feels her ability to move heavy objects has served the Ministry well when moving our friends into permanent housing…always the best part of serving

Dave Casey

Dave Casey (back row left) – Business Manager – Dave Casey is a semi-retired IT executive with a passion for old cars, old music, and old friends. He is active in many aspects of church life, but particularly interested in ministries that help and bring the Word to those not able or equipped to help themselves. Honored to be on the Liberty Ministry board, and seeing the one-to-one love and care this ministry brings to our friends. Thanking God every day for the blessings received and the opportunity to be a blessing to others.

Steve Martin

Steve Martin (back row right) – Spiritual Director – Semi-retired after 40 years in Sales/Marketing Management in the Industrial Chemical Distribution industry. Currently still working part time as an independent contractor in the Chemical Distribution industry in sales. The challenge and the “Nudge” from God to get involved in Liberty Ministry is welcomed at this stage of my life. I look forward to being in God’s service to others in less fortunate situations. Liberty allows me to be able to use any spiritual gifts going forward. I believe Liberty gives me the opportunity to receive those “Closest to Christ” moments when serving others on an ongoing basis.

Catherine Weiskopf

Cathy Weiskopf (front row center) – Secretary –  Cathy is a mother, wife, author, teacher and a formally trained spiritual director. She loves teaching people different ways to pray, accompanying people on their faith journey, and helping them find more freedom in their faith.  She currently teaches a Bible study most Tuesdays at Austin Street Center, regularly offers spiritual workshops, and meets people privately for spiritual direction. She loves being involved in Liberty Ministry because she has seen amazing transformation come out of honoring each person, simple service and keeping promises.

Cynthia Sandusky

Cynthia Sandusky – Treasurer –   Cynthia is driven by a fierce desire to protect the vulnerable. She is passionate about protecting those at risk. With spiritual gifts centered in Mercy and Helping, she has learned much as a Stephen Minister, CASA volunteer, as well as a volunteer with recovery groups, Special Olympics, and Parkinson Voice Project. Cynthia's mission is simple: be kind, protect children and treat others with respect. After over thirty years as corporate counsel she looks forward to continuing to serve our friends at Liberty Ministry.
